Andrew was born and brought up in Coventry before graduating in law from Bristol University in 1976. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1979 and became a partner in 1982. He is now joint Head of the Criminal Department and deals with all types of criminal cases. He is a duty solicitor on the Coventry Magistrates and Youth Court schemes as well as the Police Station scheme for Coventry .
