How a property trust can be a useful estate planning tool – check out our latest podcast now

Many people are concerned that, in later life, if they need to go into residential care, their family home will be sold and used to pay care fees.

However, there is a way of legally protecting at least half of the value of your home, so this can eventually be passed on to your children.

David Webb, a Director with Mander Hadley, who specialises in inheritance planning, has produced a new podcast on the subject of Property Trusts.

He explains how they can be an effective tool when mitigating the cost of care home fees and explains why you may wish to consider putting one in place when writing or updating your Will.
