Mander Hadley celebrates prestigious Legal 500 rankings

We are delighted that once again our Wills, Probate and Older Client Services team have been recognised by the industry’s Legal 500 in its latest set of annual rankings.

The quality and breadth of our work in the Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate practice area has resulted in our firm maintaining its ranking.

Recognising the efforts and expertise of Mander Hadley’s well-respected team, the Legal 500 described the firm as dealing with “a regular flow of instructions on inheritance tax planning matters, as well as on probate and trust issues.”

Our head of department Rachel Blackburn is described as being “adept at advising on diverse issues such as lasting powers of attorney and also frequently advises on care fee planning issues.”

Legal 500 also praises the team, saying: “Other strengths lie in advising on appeals of continuing health care decisions.”

Jonathan Hall, Mander Hadley’s Managing Director, said: “I am delighted that once again our firm has achieved this ranking and recognition, particularly as this is one of the key practice areas where we pride ourselves on delivering a truly first-class service to our clients.”

When awarding the ranking, Legal 500 also took into consideration the testimonials of a number of our clients who were asked for their views on the service they received.

These comments included:

‘The team provides a professional and satisfactory service in relation to probate matters. The individuals I have dealt with have been helpful and approachable giving clear explanations and advice when I have raised any issues’.

‘The lawyers have been very professional and caring whilst helping me with POA and the wills and probate. My family has dealt with them for over 40 years. It is the only practice that we use’.

‘Mander Hadley completed the application for me to become my father’s legal deputy because of his dementia. They completed all the forms relating to the Court of Protection keeping me informed at each stage of the applications’.

Jonathan added:  “Whilst we are understandably proud to have been recognised by Legal 500, the kind words from our clients are valued particularly highly, as it underlines our values and our commitment to offering a personal, approachable and expert service to the communities we serve.”
