Mander Hadley supports The Myton Hospices during ‘Make a Will Week’

Mander Hadley’s solicitors are busy writing or updating basic wills free of charge in return for a donation to The Myton Hospices as part of ‘Make a Will Week’, which runs from 3 to 7 October.

The Myton Hospices’ ‘Make a Will Week’ is an opportunity for people to make sure they have an up-to-date will in place, whilst helping to support the hospices’ work with up to 1,000 patients and their families each year. Last year Mander Hadley raised £2,165 for Myton and hope to match or better it this year. The scheme works by the person making the will giving a donation to Myton and in return Mander Hadley prepares the will for no charge.

However, in a recent case, it was decided that there had been no breach because the reduction in direct sunlight complained of by the occupants would not result in their flat becoming “substantially or materially less fit for the purpose for which the grant or demise was made”, according to the judge, Mr Recorder Morgan.
