We present cheque for more than £5,000 to Air Ambulance, following Three Peaks Challenge
We have presented a cheque for more than £5,000 to the Air Ambulance Service after three of our number completed the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge earlier this year.
Solicitors, Andriy Buniak and Matthew Riding, former Senior Accounts Assistant, Gemma Hoskin, and Accounts Manager, Laura Dale, visited the Air Ambulance Service’s base at Coventry Airport on Monday 12 August 2019 to present a cheque for £5,402.02.
In May this year, Andriy, Matthew and Gemma ascended Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales respectively – in a total time of 27 hours, 27 minutes and 40 seconds, climbing approximately 10,000 feet and walking the equivalent of a marathon in the process.
Laura was one of the team’s drivers on the day, alongside the firm’s Managing Director, Jonathan Hall, and Director, Elizabeth Jennings.
Harrison Beale and Owen Chartered Accountants and Financial Advisers and Loveitts Estate Agents both kindly provided Corporate Sponsorship for the team’s efforts, helping to cover the costs of the challenge so that all funds raised have been passed to the Air Ambulance Service.
Andriy Buniak said: “It was wonderful to be able to present a cheque for such a large amount to the Air Ambulance Service, which makes a profound difference to people across the region every day.
“We are grateful to everyone who supported us along the way and contributed towards this fantastic fundraising total.
“Particular thanks go to Harrison, Beale and Owen Chartered Accountants and Loveitts Estate Agents, whose support has meant we have been able to maximise the amount raised for the Air Ambulance Service.”
Jonathan Hall, Managing Director, added: “All of us here at Mander Hadley Solicitors are proud of Andriy, Matthew and Gemma for their efforts.
“Their grit and determination will make a major difference to people across the region.”
