In an age where artificial intelligence (AI) is drafting contracts and reviewing tenancy agreements, you might wonder whether the same tech could help with something as complex as divorce.
According to a new survey by legal intelligence platform Robin AI, the answer from most people is a firm no.
The survey of more than 4,100 people across the UK and US found that just 17 per cent would feel comfortable using AI to assist with divorce proceedings.
Ending a marriage is never just a transaction. It is about more than paperwork.
There are feelings to process, assets to divide, and often children to protect.
It involves big life decisions about the home, finances, future plans and sometimes even personal safety.
This is not the moment to trust an automated system built on patterns and probabilities.
Instead, you should speak with someone who understands what you are going through and can guide you through it with compassion and clarity.
The same survey revealed that only ten per cent of people fully trust law firms, and a meagre four per cent would trust an AI “robot lawyer” acting alone.
While that might sound bleak, it actually speaks to something incredibly human, the need for relationships, not just results.
We recognise that going through a divorce is one of the most emotionally charged experiences a person can face.
That is why we prioritise listening.
The advice we give will help you understand all your options before taking the next step.
We are not against technology.
In fact, we use secure digital systems to streamline the legal process, protect your data, and save you time.
But those tools are there to support our work, not to replace it.
Unlike AI, we do not just calculate what you might be “entitled” to.
We ask how you are coping. Child arrangements are not treated like calendar entries.
We think about what is best for your family, now and in the future.
Divorce can feel overwhelming, but with the right legal guidance and a real person by your side, it does not have to be.
Whether you are at the very beginning of the process or ready to take the next step, we are here to support you. Contact us today.
